It's Discover Student Loans, an arm of Discover Card.  My daughter filled out an application with them for Fall 2008 Semester but found a better deal. They keep calling about completing the loan application even though she told them she's not interested.

I really really don't like people that don't tell you who they are with, what they want, or just expect you to call them back without even leaving a name.  This is one of them.  Very unprofessional.

they constantly call me.. they wont stop... i told them i was not interested and to cancel my application but the wont listen.. they keep callin..and if i hitt the ignore button they call right back.. if i hang up on them.. they call right back...it really sucks

These people kept calling me and leaving voicemails that did not tell me who they were. Thanks to this website, I now know who they are. Is there a way I can block this number?

My son applied to Discover student loans, but informed them that he found a better deal elsewhere and wasn't interested in a loan from them.
They continue to call every day...I just let it go to the recorder!

Continue calling me-6 months now!!! I never answer, I just let it go to the recorder. Now they don't even leave a message anymore...

I deeply regret filling out the online student loan application because Discover will not stop calling my cell phone, even though I never actually completed the loan.  Also, I am pretty sure they gave my info to a third party because I started getting other solicitation calls on my cell phone about a week later. And I am on the DNC list.

Within a week these people have called more than 20 times. They will not quit calling and we are on the "Do Not Call" list.

I, too, applied for a Discover Student Loan but would like to find a better deal.  Would you mind sharing which institution offered you the better deal?  Thank you.

I continuously get automated voicemails at my office number from this number identifying as "Discover Student Loans."   I have never applied for a student loan with them or any other for-profit lender.  I wonder if I can put my office number on the DO NOT CALL list.

They keep calling. So annoyed. Never fill out the loans anyway, complete rip off - looking for something better

Discover Student Loand will not stop calling you! You either have to calll and cancel all the applications that have not turned into loan. Even this is not a sure shot that you will not recieve any more calls. Even if you cancel you could start recieving "curticy calls" after 30 days. Discover really wants your business.

This may be a problem because I'm sure some of you are being called multiple times per day.

I also applied for a loan. I get about 10 calls a day from them, now with no voicemails. I just added both of the numbers that they are using to call me to my block list on my phone. Hopefully this works and they leave me alone. The other # they use is: 800-733-2767. They have already called me 6 times today. I will never do business with Discover!

I got a call from this number too. I applied for a loan from Discover and they gave me a rate of 6.75! Thats ridiculous! The federal loans are SO much cheaper with rates of 3.4%.

The caller ID says "800 Service". Don't respond. If a legitimate company calls you, they would at least use their correct name on the CID.

Very annoying!  Calls everyday at least twice usually around dinner time.    Can't they be stopped?

This number keeps calling. Twice today, once yesterday. I haven't answered cause I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know, but based on what everyone's posting, it must be Discover Student Loans because I applied for a loan a bit ago and then realized I didn't need it.

I've had a dozen calls (literally) from this number in the last week. I finally added them to my contacts as Stalker#1 so I know to ignore them. They rejected my loan and won't stop bugging me, "Get a cosigner! Get a cosigner!" At least I don't appear to be the only one.

This number keeps calling me! At first, it was one call every few days. Now they call me every day, every few hours. Everyone is saying it is Discover, which I would believe because I recently tried to apply for a student loan and was rejected. Now they're going to keep harassing me several times a day to reapply with a cosigner? Discover can call me until the cow jumps over the moon--I'm not going to answer it!
