These people have called five times in the last three days. They do not leave a message.

11/21/08: They've called me 6 8 times over the past week. Except for one time, I was away from the phone, and they didn't leave a message. The one time I did answer the phone (about the 5th or 6th time they called), I did answer it, but no one was there. It appeared to ba an automated call.

A correction: they called 6 to 8 times.

This is a telemarketing/survey company that has finally called when I was sitting by the phone. They've been bothering me for two years now. I asked the caller who she worked for, and she told me the company is called DME, and located in Daytona Beach, FL. I found this during a google search: www.dmecorporate.com

DME surveys customers of various companies, including the car dealership I use for service. The woman I spoke with stated they are instructed NOT to leave messages, as they need to ask the questions contained in the survey (let's face it: no one I know would take the time to return a call if they DID leave a message).

I asked to be put on the DO NOT CALL list, and to my surprise, she said she would! We'll see... (?) Try the number above, and see if you can bother them, and request to be added to the DNC list!!

I just started getting calls in the last week. THEY don't leave a message.  I'll give your advice a try...
