Lingo call back number for existing number

I received a call from this number a day after I changed my e-mail address on my Lingo account.  The recorded message didn't announce - maybe got cut - so I didn't know who it came from.

This is the main customer service number for the Lingo Voice Service (Now owned by Birch Communications, formerly Primus)

Generally, this is for inbound clls, however, for Lingo Customers, it is their main contact point.

SO, If their auto-dialer goes south one day, it most likely has something to do with their phone service, which is , sort of, a catch 22 given ythat the primary method of delivery is through the internet as a Voice-Over-IP service, so if your Internet connection to the little box goes down, your phone service is disrupted as well.

[For Power outages , get a small used UPS system and run your DSL/Cable modem and -or router from this UPS, this will give you ample time for a power glitch (Most in N.America are less than 15 minutes). For the longer outages, at least your phone will work for 1-2 Hours. For 8 hours or more and now you are talking major storm damage]

As for this number, if it is being SPOOFED, there is no advantage for the scammers, as all you hve to do is ask who is calling, and just call Lingo back, later to confirm the informtion.
